English: St. Chad's Church, Wishaw Quite a mixture of styles make up this little church in Wishaw dating originally from the C13th. Considering its proximity to Birmingham, this is a very rural setting. In late 2008 a rare hand-painted version of the Lord's Prayer was uncovered when a memorial to a landowner who died in 1663 was moved as it had become unsafe. The prayer painting was discovered underneath, and it is thought that it dates from perhaps 150 years earlier - from the reign of King Henry VIII. The news story can be viewed here http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/coventry_warwickshire/7740862.stm - thanks to Peter Cutler for bringing my attention to this story.
You will see that this photo is an almost identical view to 23645 - but the different seasons light the stone quite differently.
