This template is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code ar to include articles in Category:Articles containing Alapik語-language text, if the category was created (using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |Alapik語 |ar}}). For example: {{Lang |ar |some text in Alapik語}}, which wraps the text with <span lang="ar">. Also available is {{Lang-ar |some text in Alapik語}} which displays as 阿拉伯語: some text in Alapik語.
It is used by {{ar icon}} and {{Link language|ar}} to display the language of an external link. These templates could add articles to Category:Articles with Alapik語-language external links, if the category was created (using {{Non-English-language external links category |code=ar |name=Alapik語}}).
