This template is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code vi to include articles in Category:Articles containing Ua̍tlâm語-language text, if the category was created (using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |Ua̍tlâm語 |vi}}). For example: {{Lang |vi |some text in Ua̍tlâm語}}, which wraps the text with <span lang="vi">. Also available is {{Lang-vi |some text in Ua̍tlâm語}} which displays as 越南語: some text in Ua̍tlâm語.
It is used by {{vi icon}}, possibly {{vi}}, and {{Link language|vi}} to display the language of an external link. These templates could add articles to Category:Articles with Ua̍tlâm語-language external links, if the category was created (using {{Non-English-language external links category |code=vi |name=Ua̍tlâm語}}).
