Bí-kok-lâng

美國人 (Bí-kok-lâng)是 (sī)美國 (Bí-kok)的 (ê)公民 (kong-bîn)。一般 (It-poaⁿ)來 (lâi)講 (kóng)美國人的國民 (kok-bîn) (nationality) 身份 (sin-hūn)毋四 (m̄-sì)照 (chiàu)族下 (cho̍k-hē) (ethnicity) 來分 (hun)，是以 (í)公民身份佮 (kap)對 (tùi)國家 (kok-ka)的中誠 (tiong-sêng) (allegiance) 咧 (teh)決定 (koat-tēng).^[1]另外 (Lēng-gōa)，嘛 (mā)有 (ū)一 (chi̍t)部分 (pō͘-hūn)無 (bô)公民身份的人 (lâng)可能 (khó-lêng)會 (ē)認 (jīn)家己 (ka-tī)是美國人.^[2]
